Default Pfsense Login

Default Pfsense Login - I am running pfsense 21.05.2 in aws. Best to set the clients to manual ip in stead of dhcp. I had logged in yesterday from this browser and desktop and it worked just fine the whole day. I don't have any special stuff set up on it, currently everything is on a single default vlan on the switch, and the switch is connected directly to the gateway. Make sure that the ip settings that vmware assigns with its own internal dhcp to the guests are not conflicting with what pfsense wants to use. I have managed to install the pfsense module and can now add it as a device within gns3. However after adding, configuring and installing the pfsense device i can’t seem to reach pfsense’s web portal or even ping it via the address given to it by dhcp. Ubuntu 16.4 i have installed pfsense in virtual box. Unfortunately, the network manager before me did not bother to write down what the username and password is to log into the web interface (it does appear to have been changed from the default). Pfsense is installed and i am seeing.

My network setting in vb is: I am running pfsense 21.05.2 in aws. Make sure that the ip settings that vmware assigns with its own internal dhcp to the guests are not conflicting with what pfsense wants to use. Ever since i created a new vm to host pfsense, i've been having problems getting static/public ips to work on any of the vms. Of course i can use the dns resolver to resolve the domain name to local lan ip address. I don't have any special stuff set up on it, currently everything is on a single default vlan on the switch, and the switch is connected directly to the gateway. That is, from a host on the 192.168.10.0/24 range if i ping pfsense.home.arpa it resolves to 192.168.85.1 instead of 192.168.10.1. Best to set the clients to manual ip in stead of dhcp. The website is default only available for people on the internet. I had logged in yesterday from this browser and desktop and it worked just fine the whole day.

I don't see anything special in the interface settings for my legacy lan that would tell pfsense it's. I do have full access to the main pfsense console, but as you can see in this photograph , my sorry attempts at getting some sort of admin menu failed. Pfsense is installed and i am seeing. My network setting in vb is:

The Thing Is That The Software That I Am Using To Run The Website Performs A Dns Lookup, Resolves It To The Public Ip And Fails To Connect To It's Own Service.

I have a basic gns3 network that i’m trying to setup with pfsense. Of course i can use the dns resolver to resolve the domain name to local lan ip address. Ever since i created a new vm to host pfsense, i've been having problems getting static/public ips to work on any of the vms.
